Welcome to the 2022 Eastern Distributors Virtual Trade Night. Because the new COVID world as we know it is still a little unsettled, we are once again having our annual trade night as a virtual event, but in true Eastern’s style, we are mixing it up again and hosting not one, but two Trade Nights in the one year!!! That’s double the opportunity to connect with suppliers, grow your business and explore opportunities with new brands and products!!

Customers will experience the same amazing, exclusive deals and from Australia’s biggest pool of pet and stockfeed brands, with the ability to interact both virtually via chat and live stream options. The team at Eastern Distributors is working hard behind the scenes to continue to deliver our customers and suppliers the biggest event ever seen in the Pet and Stock feed Industry and this year the interaction is even simpler with our dedicated Trade Night App.

Eastern Distributors is proudly an independently, Australian owned, purely wholesale business that is working with you to grow the Australian independent pet and produce retail market. One of the most exciting parts about the Eastern’s Trade Night is the access to new brands and innovative products, giving our stores the opportunity to offer their customers the variety they are seeking.

Who can attend the event?

Trade Night is for customers of Eastern Distributors only. If you do not have an account with Eastern Distributors, please reach out to enquiries@eastdist.com with your contact details and a member of our sales team will contact you.

How can I make contact with the Exhibitors?

If you can only attend virtually, it’s as simple as entering the event via the dedicated domain: www.eastdist.vfairs.com Enter the Exhibition Hall and it’s very easy. You have the option of walking (scrolling) through and looking for the Exhibitor’s Booth you’d like to visit, or you can click on the drop down menu that lists all of the Exhibitor Booths. You can click on the one you’d like to visit. Either way, when you see the Exhibitor Booth, click onto it and you are there.

Can I talk with Exhibitors on the virtual platform? How?

Once you are at a Booth you will be able to see the Chat option as one of the menu items. If you click on that, you will be able to see which representatives of that Booth are available to Chat. Then you have the option of requesting either Video, Audio or Text.

Can I place an order?

The online events utilise the built in ordering system on the virtual platform. Orders can be placed on the night or over the weekend – as long as all orders are placed by COB on the 5th of October 2022. If you do not wish to order online and prefer to place orders via deal sheet, options will be available through your local Easterns’s rep or by emailing orders to orders@eastdist.com

Is there a list of all exhibitors attending?

Yes, In the Exhibition Hall, on the online platform, there is a drop down menu that lists them all in alphabetical order. There is also a link to them right here on this website.

Do I need to download or install any information to be able to attend the virtual event?

No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the internet.

Is a webcam required for the virtual event?

No. Customers may have the ability to request a video chat, but it is not required in order to participate.

What time does the virtual event open and Close?

The virtual platform is live from Friday the 30th at 4pm until 5pm Wednesday the 5th October. Suppliers are active from 4pm-9pm Friday to help answer any questions you may have. The platform then stays live for a further 5 days. So you can go back as many times as you want to check things out. Orders must be placed by COB Wednesday the 5nd of October.

How do I log in on 30th of September?

Your login details will be emailed to you ahead of the event. You can use these details to access the online event. Simply log onto: https://eastdist.vfairs.com/ and enter your email address.

Where can I access the event?

The online Virtual Platform can be accessed from anywhere that you have Internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

When will my order be delivered?

Please refer to the delivery schedule provided. Orders will begin dispatch two weeks after the trade night.

Will I be able to take away information or brochures from the event?

Yes. Like any physical event, we will have a swag bag for you! You can add all of the documents available to the online swag bag in your account and then email them to yourself or share items with friends by simply entering their email.

Can I invite my staff to attend the event?

If you have any interested staff members, you can direct them to register using the main registration link. Each attendee registration is reviewed by the Eastern’s team. If approved, the individual will receive their login credentials within 48 business hours.
